Favorite Products Highlight - Beginner Embroidery Machines

Sep 24th 2021

I get quite a few questions about what products we use or what we think is the best thing to use so I'm going to start adding some posts on our blog linking some of the products we use regularly. :)  Disclosure - some links are Amazon Affiliate links so I will earn a small commission if you click on them and end up purchasing the product.

If you're just starting out with machine embroidery - you obviously need an embroidery machine!   I love Brother machines in general and they have a couple of great starter machines.  I've used Brother machines for years and they've always been very user friendly and have worked well for me.

I always recommend getting the machine with the largest hoop that you can afford - but for budget starter machines I usually recommend the Brother SE625 (a 4x4 hoop is the maximum size) or a Brother PE800 (a 5x7 hoop is the maximum size on this one).  Some info about each machine and an Amazon link is shown below:

Brother SE625

Computerized Sewing and Embroidery Machine with 4" x 4" Embroidery Area

  • 280 Embroidery designs and 103 built-in stitches
  • 4" x 4" Maximum embroidery area
  • 7 Included accessory feet

Brother PE800

5” x 7” Embroidery Machine with Large Color Touch LCD Screen

  • 138 Built-in embroidery designs and 11 fonts
  • 5" x 7" Maximum embroidery area
  • Built-in tutorials

Both of these machines are great starter machines! You'll need several other supplies to get started embroidering and I'll start on those in the next post. :)
