This design does NOT work with a 4x4 hoop. You need at least a 5x7 hoop to use this. It comes with 4 sizes - 7", 8", 9", and 10" (the size is the length). Once the bows are finished and knotted they measure between about 4 1/2" long for the smallest size to around 6 1/2" for the largest size.
